September 13 - 17, Director General of Rostovgiproshaht Valeriy P. Gurin, participated in the 16th International specialized fair IFAT ENTSORGA 2010 for water treatment technologies and sewage treatment, disposal and recycling, which was held in Munich, Germany . This exhibition is of great interest for our company, as Rostovgiproshaht is the general designer of the waste water treament facilities in the Krasnaya Polyana settlement, WWTF in the Adler district of Sochi.

The full range of solutions in the field of environmental technology was presented at the exhibition. Numerous companies presented their latest developments and systems. The programme of the exhibition included round tables, special regional forums under the guidance of the industry experts, and, as well, company presentations, including a wide range of professional services in water supply and sewage management.

In the course of the fair IFAT ENTSORGA 2010 the following issues were discussed:
- Technical and research issues: water, sewage, waste disposal and recycling;
- Recycled materials as an energy source: the use of new opportunities, power generation from waste;
- Study of the climate effects and adaptation strategies;
- Management of disasters;
- Special regional events.

Valeriy Petrovich Gurin also took an active part in the 15th International Round Table on water supply, wastewater disposal. The following issues concerning water resources were discussed:
- New solutions for industry waste water - Waste water treatment
- Management of sludge treatment
- Maintenance and repair of sewer systems

At the exhibition Valery was able to have a meeting with Managing Director of Beton & Rohrbau Carl-Friedrich Thymian. This company is a supplier of essential equipment for WWTF in the Adler district.

Establishing new business contacts was among the aims of visiting the world's leading fair. At the exhibition Valery P. Gurin visited the stands of companies that are authors of innovative developments and conceptual solutions for water, wastewater, waste management and processing of raw materials: German Water Partnership (Germany), Hydro International (UK), TSCHUDA (Austria), OTWA Ostth?ringer Wasser und Abwasser GmbH (Germany), Spaans Babcock (Netherlands), CP Manufacturing (USA) and many others. According to Director General of Rostovgiproshaht group of companies, the development of such business partnerships will let us hope for mutually beneficial cooperation with leading companies in the field of environmental technologies.
